Salesforce (Professional)


The purpose of this document is to provide information on specific integration vectors of Captello with Salesforce, using the Salesforce (Premium) Connector. For information about the Standard connector, refer to Salesforce (Standard).

Overview

Here's a quick overview of what you can do with this integration:

  • Instant Sync: Instantly create new leads in Salesforce. Captello syncs all information collected on your customized lead capture form, making it easy to quickly follow up with new leads using premade automations. Eliminate the need for time-consuming, manual data entry. We even support custom field mapping.
  • Bi-directional Syncing: Not only does Captello create a record as a new lead; it also syncs information between the two systems. Since Captello tracks engagement through the life of your event lead, engagement and qualification data is synced to the Lead/Contact record in Salesforce.

  • Add Leads to Salesforce Campaigns: Users can add event leads directly into a Salesforce Campaign. SalesforceCampaigns are used by enterprises to measure ROI or group leads. Captello provides integrated automation actions that allow you to use advanced business logic to determine when you want to send new event leads to SalesforceCampaigns.
  • Add Leads to Salesforce Queue: Automatically add events leads to a Salesforce queue. Captello integrates with Salesforce Queues to eliminate the need to create new Salesforce Leads each time. Use advanced business logic to determine when you want to send new event leads to your Salesforce Queue.
  • Create Tasks in Salesforce: Captello allows users to create an automated workflow, which includes creating tasks in Salesforce. You can use Captello to automatically assign new leads round-robin or based on criteria (location, etc.), and assign a new task in Salesforce to the lead owner.
  • Measure True ROI with Opportunity Syncing: Captello can measure ROI by connecting to your Salesforce Opportunities. Visibility into opportunity value and the source of your lead allows us to show you opportunities, value, wins, and revenue connected with your event. Prove the value of your events to management and use the data to improve ROI.


  • Pull-in Data from Custom Objects: This integration empowers users to use data from custom objects in segmentation and automation criteria. Captello syncs with any custom object associated with Leads, Contacts, and Accounts.

API Information and Sync Flow Diagram

API Used: SOAP API (v24.0)

Duplicate checking method: The SOAP API is used to check against our data base in the synced leads/contacts. If the setting to check for duplicates in real time is turned on, Captello uses the same API to run a SOQL query.

The following diagram shows how the sync flows when the sync action (Sync lead to Salesforce) is taken from Captello.
