Logging Marketing Emails in Salesforce
Lead Liaison can log all marketing emails sent from the platform into Salesforce. Email logs are located under the Activity History section. The Subject value is “Email Sent: SUBJECT” where “SBJECT” is the subject of the email campaign created in Lead Liaison. A copy of each recipient’s message is stored securely in Amazon S3.
Up to 200 emails are synced on every sync interval (approximately every 5 minutes). In other words, an email campaign sent to 1,000 people will appear on all 1,000 Leads/Contacts in Salesforce within 25 minutes (5 minute syncs x 4 blocks of 200 emails).
This setting must be enabled on your account. Contact your Lead Liaison Representative for more information.
Emails can be downloaded from Salesforce as shown below. The download is a .eml file that can be opened with any email client. Clicking the link in the Comments field will download the .eml file.
Only emails sent after the email sync has been enabled will be available for download. Emails sent before then may sync, but will not have the message available as a comment.
