Oracle Eloqua

Overview

The Eloqua integration allows you to seamlessly sync prospects captured from capture forms, along with event metadata to Eloqua Campaigns.

Captello can also send prospects to Eloqua using webhooks to submit Eloqua forms. The table below shows the difference between the Eloqua Integration and Webhooks.

When connected, Captello automatically creates a custom object that will have entries to all synced records, along with 20 custom fields.

To achieve this, a workflow needs to be added after an Eloqua submission

Captello Custom Object

  • Once installed a new Custom Object called Captello Events Submissions will be created. As shown in the dropdown to the right in the screenshot below, Captello can store three types of data into the Eloqua Custom Object with each record linked to an Eloqua Contact:

    • all Event Metadata (Start Date, Owner, Event Name, etc.),

    • all Submission Metadata (Captured By, Capture Date, Capture Method, etc.), and

    • 20 custom fields (named CustomField1, CustomField2, CustomField3, etc.).

Every field on your event form can be mapped to your Eloqua Custom Object, provided the Custom Object field is selected in the Captello event builder.

  • Standard submission data (Name, Email, Phone, Address, etc.) can be mapped from Event Forms to Captello Prospect fields from within the event builder. Then, the Captello Prospect Fields will sync to Eloqua Contact Fields based on your field mappings configured in the Cloud Feeder Configuration.

Since Captello sends Prospect data to Eloqua Contacts make sure you map your event form fields to Prospect Fields when building your Event.

Mapping Captello Capture Form Fields to Eloqua’s Custom Object Custom Fields

The created custom fields mentioned above (CustomField1 through CustomerField20), can be mapped to Captello form fields as shown:

  • Click on a Captello form field and select the desired Eloqua Custom Field from the Eloqua Custom Field API Name drop-down.
