Overview

Fundraiser is an activation used to collect donations from guests. It allows donors to choose between different payment amounts and different causes. Then it allows you to export a report with all the donations.

Payment Processing

Fundraiser payments go to your connected Stripe account. More payment processors will be supported in the future.

For information on how to set up Stripe, refer to Payment Gateways.

Donations Report

To access a report of donations, click on the dropdown menu of the activation and click on Donations.

Open

You will then be able to see a list of prospects and how much they donated. As well as being able to export the report.

Settings

Public Name

This is the public facing name for your Fund Raising. If you use our Goals system, the Public Name is used for the display name there.

It also appears in the Donations report.

Restrict Sources

Prevents the activation from launching outside of the selected zones.

Enable Goal

Shows a donation goal inside the activation. The goal shape can be customized form the Style tab. Refer to Goal Chart Style below for available style shapes.

Goal

Used to set a goal amount.

Amount Options

Allows you to add/remove donation amounts.

Enable Custom Amount Option

Allows donors to select their own amount, instead of restricting them to the available pre-defined amounts.

Enable Designations

Opens up the option of defining different causes for donors to select and donate to (ex. Medical Supplies, Animal Wellfare, Refugee Support.. etc).

Designation Options

Allows you to add/remove causes.

Enable Comment

Lets donors add their own comments while donating.

Enable Checkout Pop-up Confirmation

Enables a confirmation pop-up message before making the payment.

Success Action

Allows you to choose whether to start over or redirect after displaying the success message and clicking ‘Continue’.

If 'redirect' is chosen, you can redirect your the donors to any web address.

Style

The style tab lets you customize the look and feel of your activation.

Templates

Edit the default template by clicking on the ‘pen’ icon, or add a new template using the plus button.

By editing a template, you are able to add the following:

Header & Footer

They allow you to add a logo and single line text for each

Left & Right Colomns

They allow you to add a paragraph text for each.

You will also be able to choose a font for the text and justify it according to your preference (in portrait mode).

Adds a background to the activation.

With Cover Image

Adds a banner on top of the activation.

Messaging

Instructions

Used to show instructions to donors just after launching the activation.

Guidelines

Similar to Instructions, they appear as a pop-up just after launching the activation. It can be set to appear for certain devices, or all devices. For more information, please refer to Guidelines.

Successful Donation Message

A message that appears after a successful donation.
