Captello Bridge

With Captello Bridge, you can create enjoyable experiences such as networking sessions, match making, ice breakers and more. Captello Bridge can be enjoyed from mobile phone, desktop computer or embedded inside an attendee app.

Settings

The Settings tab of the builder

 

Public Name

This is the public facing name for your Bridge Meeting. If you use our Goals system, the Public Name is used for the display name there.

Cover Image

This is the cover image of the activation as displayed on the Captello mobile device.

Play Restrictions

Here you can set the restrictions on game play. There are two options available:

Event Group: The user is allowed this many game plays across all activations associated with the Event. This total applies to any activation that has the Event Group setting enabled.

Individual: Limits the number of times this activation can be played. Empty or 0 is unlimited.

This is the HTML block that will be displayed on the right side of the overview page showing all the rooms currently available. You can place any HTML content you wish, but for best performance and display you should keep it minimal.

Active Status

Active Status is a way to enable or disable your activation. Settings are described below:

  • Forever: Makes the activation accessible at all times.

  • Date Range: Makes the activation accessible from the Start Date and End Date defined. If a player attempts to play an activation after the End Date then they will receive a message or get redirected to another URL as defined.

  • Inherit from Event: Uses the Start Date and End Date of the Event Form. If a player attempts to play an activation after the End Date of the Event then they will receive a message or get redirected to another URL as defined.

  • Inactive: Makes the activation inactive. If a player attempts to play an activation while it is inactive then they will receive a message or get redirected to another URL as defined.

Questions

This page shows all the pre-defined questions you have created. Questions get used as topic suggestions in the meeting, and displayed on screen. The Category of the Question is what gets used to associate the question with the room. So if you have 8 categories, but 4 rooms, you can have it ask from any of the 8 categories you specify and customize which categories per room.

To create a new Question, click New in the top right.

Question text box is where you can type your question. The categories section allows you to select already created categories, or click '+' to create a new one.

Room Settings

Title

This lets you set the name of the room which appears at the very top of the Room’s card.

Start & End Date

This lets you set what date and time the room should be available for people to join, and when it should end.

Time Zone
Lets you configure what time zone the room Start & End dates are.

Introduction Video

When someone first opens the room, it will display this video for them to watch.

Room Cover Photo

This is the image inside of the room card. The recommended size of this image is 348 x 197

Visibility
This lets you specify if the room should be hidden from view, visible to everyone, or only visible during the start and end times.

Description

This is the brief description of the rooms purpose which gets displayed at the bottom of the card.

Meetings Settings

Meeting Background Image

This image will be scaled or cropped to fit the background of the meeting rooms. It is best to use an image with dimensions based on what you expect most people to be using, be it mobile or desktop.

Maximum Capacity
How many people are allowed to be connected to a single meeting.

Meeting Duration (Minutes)

How long after participants have joined the meeting room, should they have to talk with each other.

Show Meeting Timer

This toggle lets you display a countdown timer at the top of the meeting room when it is getting close to closing. The count down timer lets people know they need to finish up their conversations.

Pending Time (Minutes)

This is the timer before room closes, if only one person has joined the room and waiting for someone else.

Show Pending Timer

This toggle lets you display a countdown timer at the top of the meeting room when it’s going to close due to only one person in the room.

Allow Extended Time

This toggle lets people in the meeting to extend the countdown timer if they need a little extra time to finish.

Extend for [x] minutes up to [y] times in last [z] seconds

If you have the toggle turned on to allow extending the countdown timer, these 3 boxes control how many times maximum someone can extend the meeting, the duration of time added when it’s extended, and when the prompt will come up to allow extending.

Save and Edit Questions

This button in the bottom left corner will take you to the Room Questions setup page.

The Title of Questions field is used to setup the header of the questions which will appear in Bold above the question Categories. You can use this to give a title such as ‘Ask These Questions’ or ‘Question Hints’.

The Categories section lets you setup as many question categories (configured in Categories section) and how many questions from that category you want displayed. If the category has more questions then the number specified, it will pick them at random. You can add or remove new categories using ‘+' and '-'.

Style

Screensaver

Lets you configure if a screen saver will be used for the activation when it’s being used inside the Captello ULC Capture app.

Templates

Allows you to select one of your activation templates to be used for the display. You can visit our Templates section for more details.
