Capture Data Page
This section lets you control how participant (lead) data is collected through a selected form, and when lead reports are sent.
- Which Capture Form do you want to use with this activation?
From here can select the form used to appear for leads during the activation. And the form can be:
Previewed by clicking on the eye icon.
Edited by clicking on the pen icon to open the form and change fields, style, or the form properties.
- Show lead capture form before or after the activation?
Determines when the form is shown to participants.
Before (Recommended): Form appears before the game; ensures data is collected.
After: Form appears after the game ends; less recommended as the lead might leave without submitting their data after playing the activation.
- Skip capture step for duplicate submissions:
If enabled, the form won’t appear again for the same participant during the same event, and they can jump straight to the activation/game to avoid duplicate submissions (This is useful for playing multiple games inside the same zone).
- Recipient(s) for Lead Reports:
Specify email addresses to receive reports. Only listed recipients will receive the Post-Event Report and/or the Daily Report.
-Post-Event Report:
If enabled sends a summary email after the event ends. The sent sheet includes lead data (e.g., name, email, company, job title) and play info (e.g., score, submission date) as shown.
Note: The report sending time is triggered by the Capture Form’s End Date, not the activation’s end date.
Post-Event Email Logic Flow:
The system considers the event to officially end at 11:59 PM on the event’s end date.
Once the event ends, the system prepares the post-event report email to be sent to participants.
The email is automatically scheduled to be sent 6 to 8 hours after the event ends.
For example, if the event ends on June 27 at 11:59 PM, the system schedules the email to go out at around 7:00 AM UTC on June 28.
The exact time each person receives the email depends on their time zone: Someone may receive it at 7:00 AM local time, another person might get it at 10:00 AM or even 3:00 PM, it all depends on where they are in the world.
This time difference is expected, since the email is sent at a fixed UTC, but delivery is received according to each person’s local time.
- Daily Report Schedule:
If enabled, an email with the activation play results will be sent daily to the specified recipient(s) within the chosen time frame.
