Overview
An Activation Campaign is a browser based wizard that automates the process of creating a scavenger hunt using Waypoint Activations.
Activation Campaigns seamlessly create Waypoint Activations and offer the flexibility to tailor them to your specific requirements, no matter how many Waypoint Activations you need.
Creating a Campaign
Navigate to Events > Activations
From the Campaigns tab, click on New.
Name the campaign, and, if desired, choose a global leaderboard, goal, capture form, and activation folder, then click Save.
Campaign’s Name is the only required field while creating a campaign.
Basic Info Tab
You will be greeted with the Basic Info tab, which includes the information that you used to create the campaign.
Messages Tab
The messages tab acts the same way as the Messaging tab inside activations, it is universal for all activations inside the campaign.
Contents Tab
The Contents tab is where you create the activations for the campaign.
Creating an Activation
You can either activations individually using the New button, or you can import a group of activations from a spread sheet that contains their attributes.
Creating Individual Activations
Click New.
Then set up the activation (settings are detailed under Activation Settings).
Creating Activations in Bulk
To create activations in bulk, click on Import
Download the spreadsheet template and fill in the activations attributes & settings.
Then click Upload, choose the spreadsheet, and then click Import
Once the template is imported, a popup with all the activations included in this template will be displayed.
Review the activations, then click Save.
Activation Settings
When the Settings sync toggle is enabled, any changes made to an activation's settings will automatically apply to other activations within the same campaign, ensuring consistency.
If you need to modify a single activation without affecting the others, make sure to turn off the toggle for the activation you are changing.
Â
Note that the Settings sync toggle can also be found inside of each activation’s builder.

The Message sync toggle
When the Message sync toggle is enabled, any changes made to an activation's messaging, will automatically apply to other activations within the same campaign, ensuring consistency.
If you need to modify a single activation without affecting the others, make sure to turn off the toggle for the activation you are changing.
Note that the Message sync toggle can also be found inside of each activation’s builder.
The Reset goals toggle is used to update the goal for players to include newly created activations in the campaign.
For example, a player has achieved 5/7 goals, then a new activation is added. There are two possibilities.
If the Reset goals switch is on, the score will be updated to 5/8
If the Reset goals switch is off, the score will stay at 5/7
