Captinko is an online version of classic Plinko game involving a ball or disk that falls randomly down a grid of pegs to land in a random spot at the bottom.

Play Restrictions

Here you can set the restrictions on game play. There are two options available:

Event Group: The user is allowed this many game plays across all activations associated with the Event. This total applies to any activation that has the Event Group setting enabled.

Individual: Limits the number of times this activation can be played. Empty or 0 is unlimited.

Mode

Leaderboard: Scores are sent to the leaderboard.

Prizes: Winning players receive a prize based on the prize probability configured in the Activation/Game. Leaderboards are not used in this mode.

Both: Winning players receive a prize based on the prize probability configured in the Activation/Game and their score is sent to the leaderboard.

Game Mode

• Standard - standard time limit for the entire game.

• Chip Countdown - Timer will count down while the player is holding a chip. The player must release it before time runs out.

Timer

Time limit (in seconds).

Chip Diameter

Diameter of the chip. The value should be between 30 and 75.

Number of Chips

Number of chips the player receives before starting. This is equivalent to the number of attempts. The value should be between 1 and 10.

Chip Image

Recommended image dimensions: 160 × 160 pixels.

Board Logo

Logo on the top of the board. Recommended image dimensions: 697 pixels (width) × 176 pixels (height).

Board Background

Board background image. Recommended image dimensions: 761 pixels (width) × 1470 pixels (height).

Board Background Opacity

The opacity level of the board background image. Lower opacity will show more of the background behind the board. Value must be between 0 and 100. For example, 100 is a valid value and changes opacity to 100%.

Board Frame Opacity

The opacity level of the frame around the board. Higher opacity (100) will show all of the board frame. Value must be between 0 and 100. For example, 100 is a valid value and changes opacity to 100%.

Buckets

Number of buckets (slots) at the bottom of the board ,Number of buckets should be between 3 and 8. For each bucket you can configure these options:

• Text - Text to display inside a bucket. Value should be between 1 to 4 characters. Value can include letters, numbers, digits, and punctuation marks.

• Score - Score received when the chip lands in this bucket.

• Background Color - Background color of the bucket.

• Text Color - Color of text displayed on the bucket.

• Stroke Thickness - Thickness of the stroke. The stroke is the border around the font. The value should be between 0 and 2.

• Stroke Color - Color of the stroke. The stroke is the border around the font.

• Bucket Opacity - The opacity level of the bucket background. Lower opacity will show more of the background inside the bucket. Value should be between 0 and 100. For example, 100 is a valid value and changes opacity to 100% (solid background color).

• Font Size - Adjusts the font size of the text within each bucket. Recommended font size is 25. Any more than 25 and four (4) digit numbers might not fit within the bucket. Make sure to check if your font fits if you’re also adding a stroke (border).

• Sound - Sound the chip makes when falling into a bucket.

Active Status

Active Status is a way to enable or disable your activation. Settings are described below:

• Forever: Makes the activation accessible at all times.

• Date Range: Makes the activation accessible from the Start Date and End Date defined. If a player attempts to play an activation after the End Date then they will receive a message or get redirected to another URL as defined.

• Inherit from Event: Uses the Start Date and End Date of the Event Form. If a player attempts to play an activation after the End Date of the Event then they will receive a message or get redirected to another URL as defined.

• Inactive: Makes the activation inactive. If a player attempts to play an activation while it is inactive then they will receive a message or get redirected to another URL as defined.

Style

You can set up Captinko in just minutes with custom colors, branding, background graphics, puck images, leaderboards and more.

Submit Button Background Color - Lets you configure the background color of the Submit / Play button on the lead capture form.

Submit Button Text Color - Lets you configure the text color of the Submit / Play button on the lead capture form.

Submit Button Text - The word or phrase that is displayed on the Submit button of the lead capture form.

Logo - Your company or game logo that is displayed in the top left. The logo will be scaled to height 80px on activations without prizes, and 150px on activations with prizes.
Recommended image size is 559 x 151px.

Background Image - Image file that is displayed in the background of the entire activation.
Recommended image size is 512 x 512px.

Background Fit - Gives 3 options on how to display the background image.

Background Color - If you are not using a Background Image, you can configure the color of the background.

Back Button Color - Color of the back button that exits the activation.

Letter Style - Font style and color of the letters displayed in the game.

Word Style - Font style and color of the Choose Words section.

Score Display Style - Font style and color of the score displayed in the game.

Timer Style - Font style and color of the timer displayed in the game.

Score Style - Style of the score on screen.

Chip Counter Style - Style of the chip counter.
