Types of Email

Overview

Lead Liaison separates email into three categories. Each category is delivered using an optimal delivery method appropriate for the type of mail. 

  1. Transactional Mail = 1:1 emails sent as a result of an event (submitted a form, visited a web page, downloaded a document, watched a video, etc.)
  2. Nurture Mail = 1:1 emails that get sent by sales reps to prospects or passed through a marketing nurture track
  3. Mass Mail = Sending an email to a large list (usually 1K to 20K contacts)

For effective responsive marketing, when adding a Flow to any item (video, document, form, etc.) then all emails in the Flow are classified as Transactional Mail.
