Overview

You can embed a Captello zone inside Swoogo using iFrame. The zone can be embedded inside any page that requires log-in in order to track the registrant back in Captello.

Embedding a Zone Inside Swoogo

Follow the steps below to embed your Captello Zone inside Swoogo:

Navigate to 'Website'.

Click on ‘Page' and choose the intended page or click on 'Add new’ to create a new page for the zone.

Note: Make sure to check the 'Page can only be accessed by signed-in registrants' in order to be able to pass their information to Captello. Otherwise, the lead will be anonymous.

Click on the intended page from the ‘Pages' prompt or the top of the page, click on the ‘+' icon, and then choose 'iFrame'.

Right-click on the iFrame and choose 'iFrame Settings'.

Enter the zone URL followed by the query string.

The URL will look like this:
https://captellogo.play.captello.com/launch/sFprRhrW7Ew7M7JY4EOA/?source={swoogo}&p={swoogo}&fn={*/registrant-first_name/*}&ln={*/registrant-last_name/*}&eml={*/registrant-email/*}

The parameters below are supported:

Email: eml, email
First Name: fn, fname
Last Name: ln, name
Company: cp, company
Job Title: jt, jobtitle

To get Swoogo’s query parameters follow the steps here.

Make sure to allow the Camera and Microphone of the iFrame permissions to be able to scan inside the zone and record audio.

Note: If you encounter the ‘You need to enable JavaScript to run this app' after pasting the URL.

This is due to Swoogo’s security policy. Follow the steps below to display the zone:

Navigate to the ‘Tools and Analytics' tab and choose 'Content Security Policy’.

Get the Zone URL and enter it without ‘https' and before '/launch'. For example, if the zone URL is 'https://captellogo.play.captello.com/launch/sFprRhrW7WEw7M7JY4EOA/’, then the URL would be ‘captellogo.play.captello.com'.
Click ‘Save’.
Open the event page with the Captello zone and the zone will be displayed.

Getting Query String Parameters

To get Swoogo’s query parameters:

Add a ‘Text’ widget

Double-click the ‘Text’ field to edit it and click on the magnifying glass icon.

Expand the 'Registrant Merge Fields'.

Copy and paste the registrant’s ‘Email Address’, ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’ etc. merge fields into the query parameter.

Captello Zone in Swoogo’s Mobile App

You can embed a Captello zone inside the Swoogo mobile app. The web page created for the zone in the Swoogo mobile app essentially redirects the attendees to the web page created on the web app.
