Connexions Portal

Overview

The Connexions portal allows you to view, activate, and edit all Connextions accessories that are assigned to you. It is accessible from both desktop and mobile (through mobile browsers).

Simplified Activation of Accessories

To activate an accessory assigned to you, simply scan its QR code or NFC from your phone, and follow the Wizard as shown:

  • After scanning, tap 'Let’s Get Started'.

  • In case of your accessory being in Lead Capture mode, select one of your 365 capture forms and tap ‘Activate your Accessory’.

Your accessory is now activated!

The user will receive an email after activating their accessory. The email includes a link to the portal and a link to their profile.

Accessing the Connexions Portal

To access the Connexions portal and manage your accessories, follow the steps below:

  • Login to Captello

  • Click on your profile picture

  • Click on Connexions Portal

The user can also login using the link they recieve after activating their accessory.

Login methods include:

  • Using your password

  • Using an OTP

  • Using Google

The portal will have 3 main tabs:

Accessories Page

The accessories tab shows all the accessories assigned to your user profile, allowing you to preview the accessories pages, edit their templates, and modify the lead capture mode. (that are previously setup on the Connexions admin view).

  • Use the eye icon image-20250226-125558.png to preview the profile (open in a new tab).

  • Use the edit icon image-20250226-132906.png to edit

Accessory Mode

Enable the user to switch between Captello 365 and Quick Connection for lead capture.

The system will auto-redirect to your most recent 365 form if none is selected

Fallback Action

Choose where to redirect the accessory viewer if the accessory owner has no assigned Captello 365 forms:

  • Redirect to Quick Connection Form.

  • Redirect to Profile.

  • Redirect to a Predefined URL.

Profiles Page

Allows you to preview and edit your profiles that are assigned to the accessories (based on Connexions admin setup). This allows you to edit contact information and social media links per profile.

Depending on admin restrictions, some profiles can be un-editable.

You can also customize the profile link of each profile by clicking the edit button on the link.

To edit the contact information and social media links for a specific profile, click on 'Edit.'

In the Premium tab:

You can edit the button line and element title within the form. You can also preview your assigned 365 forms.

In the preview, you will have three viewing options: 

  •     Mobile app (selected by default)

  •     Tablet/iPad

  •     Desktop

Preview your profile by clicking on the ‘Preview’ button.

Auto download vCard: When this option is enabled, a vCard (VCF file) with the profile’s contact info is going to be downloaded once anyone accesses the link.

Adding your wallet 

You can now easily link your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet to your profile.

Click or tap on the Share button next to your profile.

  • Select either Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet.

    • On Apple devices or desktop: Both options are available.

    • On Android devices, Only Add to Google Wallet is shown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A preview of your wallet pass will appear, displaying your company name and a QR code.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Confirm the preview looks correct.

  • Click or tap Add to save the pass to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Your wallet pass is now linked to your profile.

  • Show the QR code from your wallet to others, and they can scan it to view your profile directly.

Public Profile Referral Link

Public profiles now display a floating referral footer that allows viewers to:

  • Access install instructions

  • Download the mobile app from the stores

  • Create their own Connections account

  • Share referral links

Receiving Contact Submissions

When someone sends you their contact details through your public profile, you will receive an email notification that includes:

  • First & Last Name

  • Job Title

  • Company

Periodically summary report 

Overview

The Periodic Summary Report is an automated email report sent to Connection Portal users. It provides key analytics about their profiles over a selected period. Users can customize the frequency and subscription status of these reports according to their preferences.
Email Report Contents

Each Periodic Summary Report email contains a summary of the following metrics for the selected date range, reflecting the user’s time zone:

Total number of new connections captured during the period

Views

Number of profile views within the selected date range

Tabs

Number of accessory tabs accessed (for all accessories owned by the user)

Downloads

Number of contact downloads and related marketing materials

  • Frequency Options: Users can choose to receive reports daily, weekly, or monthly.

Enabling the Periodic Summary Report

To enable and configure the Periodic Summary Report:

  1. In the Connection Portal settings, locate the Periodic Summary Report option.

  2. Toggle the Subscription to ON.

  3. Choose your preferred frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.

  • After enabling, users will receive summary emails at the chosen frequency.

  • Reports include analytics for the period, with clear metrics and trends.

  • Easy Unsubscribe: Users can unsubscribe at any time via:

    • The settings screen in the Connection Portal.

    • The unsubscribe link is provided in the footer of every summary report email.

The unsubscribe link will direct you to the unsubscribe page.

Connections Page

The connections tab shows all the people that have connected with you by filling one of your forms. It allows you to: save contact details, initiate calls, or send emails directly from your profile for fast, personalized follow-up.

Opted-out users will appear grayed out.

You can search by name, email, or company to quickly find a specific connection.

You can filter by:

  • Event: Select the event where the data was captured.

  • Form: Choose the specific form used.

  • Capture Method: Filter by how the lead was captured (e.g., badge scan, manual entry, business card).

  • Rating: Filter leads based on their rating (e.g., Hot, Warm, Cold).

You can also click Clear all to remove all applied filters.

Click Export to download your filtered connections. This allows you to save the data in a CSV or Excel file.

Analytics




My Insights

The My Insights section provides an overview of your networking activity and engagement. It collects key metrics and actions in one place, helping you track interactions and manage connections.

Profile Views

Shows the number of times your profile has been viewed.

Connections Made

Shows the total number of new connections created through your forms.

Contact Downloads

Displays the number of times your contact information has been downloaded.

Link Engagement

Tracks how often users interact with your shared links, offering insight into your content's effectiveness.

Date Filter

The Date Filter allows you to view your insights within a specific time range. All metrics and charts in My Insights update automatically based on the selected range.

The Date Filter is in the top-right corner of the My Insights page, above the metrics cards.

  • Click the date filter drop-down in the top-right corner.

  • Select the time range to view.

  • The page refreshes automatically to show data for the selected period.

Available Time Ranges

  • All – Displays all available data.

  • Today – Displays data from the current day.

  • Last 7 Days – Displays data from the past week.

  • Last 2 Weeks – Displays data from the past 14 days.

  • Last 30 Days – Displays data from the past 30 days.

  • Last 3 Months – Displays data from the past 3 months.

  • Last 6 Months – Displays data from the past 6 months.

  • Last 9 Months – Displays data from the past 9 months.

  • Last 12 Months – Displays data from the past year.

 

 

 

 

 


Activities

Displays a timeline of your business-related interactions and engagements, giving you a clear

view of your activity over time.

Activities include: Profile Viewed, Connection mode, Contact downloaded, and link tapped.

  • Click the Engagements drop-down, then select the engagement you'd like to include.

Event Analytics


Event Analytics shows how you engaged during the event and how others engaged with you. It highlights profile views, form submissions, contact downloads, and your own activity like booth visits and profiles you viewed.
Select your event from the drop-down menu at the top right:

The All tab gives you a complete view of your activity, including interactions you initiated and those directed toward you.

Inbound


Inbound interactions show how others engaged with you, including who viewed your profiles, submitted forms as leads, or downloaded your contact information.

  • Click the Inbound tab to track inbound activities.

  • Profile views: The number of times others have accessed your profile, showing your business or service's visibility and reach.
    Click on Profile Views to see a detailed list of who viewed your profile.

  • Connections made: The total number of connections established through your form submissions.
    Click on Connections Made to review each new connection's details.

  • Contact downloads: How often others have downloaded your contact information, indicating ease of saving and following up.
    Click on Contact Downloads to see who downloaded your information and when.

  • Link engagement: The number of times users interact with links you've shared, providing insight into your shared content's effectiveness.

Outreach

Displays your interactions with others, such as profiles you viewed, those who captured you as a lead, booths you visited, and contacts you downloaded.

  • Profile views: The number of times you view others' profiles

during the event, either through scanning their badge, profile QR code, digital wallet, or accessing it via any share option.

  • Capture as lead: The total number of people captured you as lead during the event through different methods: Inline Form, and Contact Exchange

  • Booth visits: The total number of booths you visited during the event by scanning your badge at different times exhibitors.

  • Contacts downloads: The number of times you download other attendees contacts 'vCard file', either automatically when accessing profiles or by tapping the 'Save Contact' button during the event.

  • Tip: Clicking any metric opens a detailed breakdown with timestamps, user info, and interaction types, giving you full insight into your event engagement.

Journey


Display event activities for your engagement, including "Form Submitted", "Profile Viewed", "Booth Visited", "Contact Downloaded", or "Link Tapped".

This section provides a timeline of your event engagement to evaluate interaction quality, identify high-interest leads, and measure your event's impact.

  • In the Insights drop-down, choose the relevant category (e.g., Outreach, Inbound, Event Engagement)

In the Engagements drop-down, select which activities to include (e.g., Profile Views, Captured as Lead, Booth Visits, etc.).

Note: Any red underlined link shown in the Activities or Journey section is clickable. Selecting it will open the related webpage or resource associated with that activity.

Export Your Journey


To export your journey, click on the Export button in the top-right corner.

  • From the "Insights" drop-down, choose a category (Outreach, Inbound, Event Engagement).

  • From the "Engagements" drop-down, select the activities you want (Profile Views, Captured as Lead, Booth Visits, etc.).

Review or edit the automatically generated file name.

  • Confirm your export by clicking Export.

The exported file will be sent directly to your registered email address.

Note: that the journey will be available if you are an enterprise user or if you are on the premium subscription and still valid.
Otherwise you will be prompted with a section to upgrade
