All Editions of Lead Liaison with the exception of the Starter Edition include real-time chat (eMeetings). Chat is commonly used by inside sales or sales development representatives. Chatting is a one-way chat initiation from your website to the website visitor. At the moment, the website visitor cannot initiate a chat. If you have the Starter or you choose not to use real-time chat your tracking code will only include two lines of java script. The third line, which is required to initiate chats, will be removed. You will see the optimized tracking code in your account. For example, the on load tracking code would look like this without the chat line:
