If you need to disable leads, contacts and accounts from being synced from SFDC, even during the Import step you can disable their sync by following the steps below:
Navigate to Setup > Account > Settings
Under the Salesforce.com tab, you can turn off syncing leads, as well as sycning contacts and accounts from Salesforce.com. This will not affect syncing leads to salesforce.com.
