Overview
Simplified sign-in and sign-up for new and existing Freemium users, providing easy access to your Connexions Portal and Connection Form to view and manage all leads in one place.

For New Users: Creating Your Account
If you do not have an account, create one to access your default connection form and profile.
Quick setup to start: create your account by following these steps:
Start Here: Open the app and tap Create Account.
Enter Your Email: Type in your business email address and tap Continue.
OR
Select Continue with Google to sign up quickly using your Google account.Verify Your Account: The app will automatically ask for a verification code. Check your email for the One-Time Verification (OTP) code we sent and enter it into the app.
Fill in Your Personal Information: Complete the brief information form.
You’re in! After login, an activation prompt will appear.
Choose Scan QR Code or Scan with NFC (iOS only).
If you don’t have your accessory yet, tap Skip to continue and activate later.
A Discover Captello video will automatically appear, guiding you through the basics of the app and helping you get started quickly.
Upon sign-up, the system automatically creates a default Profile Card and Form for the user using the configured templates.
Click on the Capture Form, then select Capture to start collecting your leads.
Enter the connection information and submit.
To access your leads, click Leads.
Access your portal
To access your portal, click the left menu and select Connexions
It directs you to your portal to edit and preview your profile.
To edit the contact information and social media links for a specific profile, click on 'Edit.'
You can also customize the profile link by clicking the edit icon on the link.
Auto download vCard: When this option is enabled, a vCard (VCF file) with the profile’s contact info is going to be downloaded once anyone accesses the link.
Capture lead first: Enable this option to prompt the capture form when sharing your profile link or scanning your profile QR.
Preview your profile by clicking on the ‘Preview’ button.
To add your wallet, click or tap the Share button next to your profile.
A preview of your wallet pass will appear, displaying your company name and a QR code.
For Existing Users: Signing Into Your Account
If you already have a Captello account, your sign-in process remains the same, giving you the
flexibility to choose your preferred login method. Follow these steps:
Open the app and enter your email.
Send OTP: Have a fresh One-Time Verification code sent to your email.
You can also sign in to Captello using a supported social account for a faster and more convenient experience.
Open the Captello app.
On the sign-in screen, select Continue with Google.
Choose your Google account and complete the authentication process.
You will be directed to choose your Captello account to sign in based on:

Note:
Google sign-in is currently available.
Sign-in options for Microsoft, Slack, and LinkedIn will be available soon.
Access and export leads
To access your leads, click on the leads icon.
According to your plan, free users cannot export leads and can view only 30 leads.
To export your leads, click the three-dot icon at the top right and select "Export Submissions."
If you are a free user, clicking on "Expert Submissions" will prompt you to upgrade your plan.

Public Profile Referral Link
Public profiles now display a floating referral footer that allows viewers to:

Create their own Connections account

Activating an Accessory
If you need to activate an accessory, the app will first make sure you are logged in. If you aren’t, you’ll be guided to the sign-in/sign-up screen before you can proceed with the activation.
To Activate Your Accessory
Scan the QR code located on the back of your accessory, or use NFC.
After scanning, you will be redirected to the activation page.
Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your accessory.
Click “View your Profile” to access and edit your profile.
If you have no account, scan the QR code on your accessory or NFC card.
Click on activate your accessory.
Enter Your Email: Enter your business email and tap Continue.
Verify Your Account: The app will ask for a verification code. Check your email for the OTP and enter it.
Fill in Your Personal Information: Complete the brief information form and hit Create account
Your account has been created, and your accessory has been activated

You will be prompted to the profile page.
A free freemium user can activate one accessory.
If you have already activated your accessory, you will see this message.
Activate Your Accessory via Web app
If you don’t have the mobile app installed yet, you can complete activation directly in your browser.
To Activate Your Accessory:
Scan the QR code located on the back of your accessory, or use NFC.
After scanning, you will be redirected to the activation page.

Email Report Contents
Each Periodic Summary Report email contains a summary of the following metrics for the selected date range, reflecting the user’s time zone:
Metric | Description |
Connections | Total number of new connections captured during the period |
Views | Number of profile views within the selected date range |
Taps | Number of accessory taps accessed (for all accessories owned by the user) |
Downloads | Number of contact downloads and related marketing materials |
Frequency Options: Users can choose to receive reports daily, weekly, or monthly.
Enabling the Periodic Summary Report
To enable and configure the Periodic Summary Report:
In the Captello App settings, under Notification, find the Connexions Summary Report options.
Toggle the Subscription to ON.
- Subscribe to periodic reporting on DBC activity: receive a summary email based on the selected frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly (on the 1st of each month).
Choose your preferred frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
After enabling, users will receive summary emails at the chosen frequency.
Reports include analytics for the period, with clear metrics and trends.
Easy Unsubscribe: Users can unsubscribe at any time via:
The settings screen in the Captello app settings.
The unsubscribe link is provided in the footer of every summary report email.
Receiving Contact Submissions
When someone sends you their contact details through your public profile, you will receive an email notification that includes:
