What Data is Looked Up (Field Mapping)
The following applies for both Enrichment and Lookup.
Lookup field mapping depends on the lookup source. Many of them support custom mapping. Find the details about each source below:
Enrichment
Enrichment is a lead capture feature that allows you to look up records on your connected account of HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo, in addition to prospects existing on your Captello/Lead Liaison account, and Captello Enrichment Network. Other CRM/MA platforms will be supported in the future.
Unlike Lookup, Enrichment allows you to look up multiple sources at the same time, and to retrieve multiple records to choose from.
It also allows you to rank sources, so it would retrieve data from your priority sources first (such as when you have a CRM that has the most recent data).
The Enrichment waterfall will be followed automatically when the Smart Scanner / Unified Scanner is used, it can also be triggered manually.
Adding Enrichment Sources to Lead Capture Forms
Setting Up the Enrichment Waterfall
Find the enrichment setup section under form properties.
Select your preferences
Use partial search when possible: Allows you to search for partial names. (Eg. “Brad” would also retrieve “Bradley”, and “Lead Liaison” would also retrieve “Lead Liaison LLC”.
Search input screen: Select whether the lookup icon on the form is always there, or if it appears when you’re missing contact information.
Search results display: Select whether all results are shown, show first match with a button to show all results, or show only the first match
Select your sources. You can add as many sources as desired using the “+” button.
Move them up or down by dragging the move icon. Sources on top are prioritized.
This means you can set it up to look your Captello, then your CRM first, and if it doesn’t find result, only then it can resort to Captello Enrichment Network. In this example, the setup would be:
Source 1: My Captello (CRM)
Source 2: hubSpot < Or whichever CRM/MAP you have connected
Source 3: Captello Enrichment Network
Social Enrichment
When enabled, enrichment data and Talking Topics will appear on the Captello Enrichment Network verification screen and upon closing the results screen. This option enriches leads using social network data, adding details like gender, age, profile photo, Twitter URL, LinkedIn URL, LinkedIn bio, and more to the Prospect record.
Enable the Enrichment Button on Fields (Search and Enrich)
It does not matter which field(s) you enable ‘Search and enrich’ on. This is just to show a button that launches the enrichment search pop-up.
You can have the button on as many fields as desired.
You can also enable Lookup at the same time, that way, Enrichment will be available on the mobile app, while Lookup will be available on the webapp.
You can also Enrichment and Lookup in conjuction by enabling Lookup on the email field, while having the Enrichment enabled on any other field. It does not matter which field Enrichment is enabled on since it is only used to launch the Enrichment pop-up.
Manually Running Enrichment
Enrichment runs automatically upon using the Smart Scanner or the Unified Scanner. It can also be triggered manually following the steps below:
Enrichment is currently supported on the mobile app only. However, you can also keep lookup on for web-view submissions.
To use Enrichment, tap any of the Enrichment icons you have enabled.
Alternatively, Enable the Enrich button from the Style tab of the capture form, and click the ‘Enrich’ button at the bottom of the form.
The lookup pop-up will launch, prefilled with contact information you have on the form, including First Name, Last Name, Email, Company and Job Title.
Click the search button to perform the lookup.
In this example, ‘Show all results’ is selected, allowing you to tap any of the results to till the form.
Adjusting Search After Showing Results
To go back to the lookup pop-up and make search adjustments, tap Refine search.
Lookup
The lookup feature allows you to prefill capture form fields by searching databases that you have connected, such as NPI or your Salesforce account. The search can be done using email address, or in case of NPI, using the NPI of the lead.
Setting up Lookup
To set up the Lookup feature in a capture form, follow the steps below:
Click on a field on the form (preferably Email, unless NPI is used), navigate to its properties, and enable the Lookup toggle.
Email is recommended since lookup is done using email (except for NPI, refer to NPI Lookup for NPI Lookup setup). It makes it easier if you are scanning badges or business cards to have the email field pre-filled then have the lookup performed.
Select your Lookup source, which can be ‘System’ (Your existing prospects, an always available options), HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce or NPI (if you have the licenses for them).
To review data before filling the form, turn on the ‘Verify Data’ toggle. It works similar to business card AI transcription.
The lookup field will have a search button on the side. Its colors can be customized.
Here is an example of how verification looks like:
Make sure that Enrichment is not enabled on the same field, otherwise, it will not show the standard lookup icon on the mobile app.
If you need to use Enrichment in conjuction, you can have Enrichment enabled on another field. It does not matter which field Enrichment is enabled on since it is only used to launch the Enrichment pop-up.
Customizing The Lookup Search Button Color
In the style tab of the capture form, scroll down to tthe ‘Lookup button style’ section. To custmize the colors of the button, turn off the ‘Use theme style’ toggle, then choose your desired colors.
‘Lookup button color' changes the background color of the button, while 'Lookup icon color’ changes the color of the magnifier on the button.
