EventGen Branding

Overview

EventGen directory can be branded according to your organization’s needs. The branding settings are account wide and will affect your Event Directory as well as your individual event registration pages.

Branding Settings and Recommended Aspect Ratios

To access EventGen branding settings, navitage to Setup > Events > Managed.

Then customize your branding under the branding drop-down.

Logo

The logo appears in the top left of your directory and registration pages.

Recomended resolution and aspect ratio: 600 x 120 (10:2), or 256 x 256 (square).

Favicon

Appears on your browser tab.

Recomended resolution and aspect ratio: Must be an even square, recommended: 256 x 256 pixels.

If you must upload a rectangular favicon, make sure to add space on top and below the logo to make the image an even square, otherwise it will be squished into a square.

Theme

Color

The selected color affects buttons, hyperlinks and icons.

Font Family

Allows you to customize the font used in the directory and registration pages.

Header Background Color

This setting allows you to customize the header bar color.

Body Background Color

Allows you to change the background color under the closest upcoming event (which takes the top space of the page).

Footer Background Color

Allows you to customize the Footer bar color.

Footer Text Color

Allows you to customize the Footer text color.

Loading Icon and Other Settings

Loading Icon

The loading icon appears momentarily while loading a page on the directory or an event’s registration page.

Recommended Aspect Ratio and Resolution: Must be a square, 256x256 pixels is recommended.

If you must upload a rectangular logo, make sure to add space on top and below the logo to make the image an even square, otherwise it will be squished into a square.

Disable Search and Filtration

Removes the search and filtering option.

Disable Favorite

This setting removes the favourite icons from the directory and event registration pages.

Disable Social Share

Allows you to remove the social share icons on the directory and event registration pages.

Removing Header, Footer and Cover Image

URL parameters can be used to hide the header, footer and cover images.

To remove the header, add the following parameter to the URL

?hideHeader=true

Or

&hideHeader=true

Adding a “?” or an “&” sign depends if there is already an existing “?” in the URL. If there is atleast one question mark, the rest of the parameters must be added after a “&” sign.

The parameters are case sensitive.

To remove the footer:
