Overview

Email reports help you track the performance of your marketing emails. You can use email reports to see the total number of emails sent; important rates such as click-through and bounce rates; the Prospects who are interacting with your email marketing.

Accessing the Email Reports

To access the email reports, navigate to Reports > Emails. This page contains your account's email statistics, top performing emails, and a detailed list of emails/email lists.

Email Statistics

At the top of the email reports page, you will find your account's overall email statistics. This includes all emails, whether sent as a one-off email, as a part of an automation, or as a part of a fulfillment action.

Top-Performing Email Graphs

The three graphs below the email statistics represent your top 3 performing emails during the selected time period. Each ring on the graph represents the number of opens, click-throughs, and unsubscribes respectively. The rings fill in based on the percentage of the action vs the number of emails sent. Mouse over the rings to see the actual percentage.

Sorting Options

Use the sorting options at the top of the page to change the time period, type of report (emails, lists or emails per list), and total vs unique reporting.

Further two options are available:

  1. All activities within date range: When selected, it will show the stats for the life of the email. This means that it is possible to see a higher number of opens/clicks/lost than emails sent if the send action occurred before the selected time period. For example, you may have sent an email 30 days ago. Your filter criteria is set to show activity only from the last seven days, so the statistics do not show the send action. If the Prospect opened the email in the last seven days, the system would show an open action despite not showing a send action.

  2. Only activities for sends within date range: When selected, it will load the sent count but for the other activities, they should be calculated only for the emails sent within the selected date range.

Time period

By default, the system will load email statistics from the last seven days. You can increase the time frame by a number of weeks or months, or set a custom time frame. To change the time frame, use the drop-down menu shown below.

Lead Liaison's email reports contain data going back as far as January 1, 2017. If you require reporting data from before this time period, please contact support@leadliaison.com.

Lifetime Email Campaign Statistics

Shows statistics for each email campaign (or newsletter sent to a Contact List) for the life of the email. In other words, if Email A was sent two times in one month, each to 50 people, then the Recipients would be 100 (50 x 2) for Email A.

Automation Statistics

Shows statistics for each automated process that contains a send email action for the life of the automation. These stats are handy when analyzing effectiveness of multiple emails in a single automation. Sort the "Process/List Name" to group like automations together and get a perspective on each email campaign in the automation to see the best performers.

Lifetime Automation/List Statistics

Shows stats for all emails within an automation or all emails sent to a contact list. For example, if Automation A had 5 emails the stats are a grouping of the stats for all 5 emails.
