Overview

In this game, the players you have to slide the tiles to reassemble a picture, by touching the block you want to move.

Sliding Puzzle comes with a default picture but you can use any picture for the puzzle as per your needs. Recommended image dimensions are 554 pixels (width) × 554 pixels (height).

Like other Activation, you can customize pretty much every object in the game to match with your brand. This includes the main puzzle image, background image, sliding puzzle piece sound, your company logo etc.

This game can be played in Prize mode, Leaderboard mode, or both.

Game Play Modes

Following game play modes are available.

Timer Mode: In Timer Mode, you can set the length (in seconds) for how long the game should last. Once the timer is up and the puzzle is not solved, the player loses. If timer mode is off, Timer will count up until the player wins.

Time Threshold Mode: Time Threshold Mode replaces the standard mode where that gives a prize to the player once the puzzle is solved. In Time Threshold Mode, you can set the length (in seconds) for time that the player must solve the puzzle within, before they are eligible to win a prize.

Show Hint: You can enable this option to show a thumbnail of the original image next to the puzzle to help the player.

Cover Image

Image used for tile in-app when selecting which Activation/Event you’re at.

Play Restrictions

Here you can set the restrictions on game play. There are two options available:

Event Group: The user is allowed this many game plays across all activations associated with the Event. This total applies to any activation that has the Event Group setting enabled.

Individual: Limits the number of times this activation can be played. Empty or 0 is unlimited.

Mode

Leaderboard: Scores are sent to the leaderboard.

Prizes: Winning players receive a prize based on the prize probability configured in the Activation/Game. Leaderboards are not used in this mode.

Both: Winning players receive a prize based on the prize probability configured in the Activation/Game and their score is sent to the leaderboard.

Countdown Timer

When enabled, this mode requires the player to solve the puzzle before the countdown timer (seconds) expires. If this mode is not enabled then the game stops once the player solves the puzzle. Time to complete the puzzle is saved.

Row/Column Pieces:

Number of puzzle pieces per row and column. Each puzzle piece is in the shape of a square. Number should be between three (3) and five (5).

Empty Slice Piece Row : Number

Row number used to show where the one empty puzzle piece will be displayed. Used along with Empty Piece Column Number to place empty puzzle piece.

Column number used to show where the one empty puzzle piece will be displayed. Used along with Empty Piece Row Number to place empty puzzle piece.

Border Size: Here you can set the size of the borderline of puzzle squares. Border Size must be between 1 and 20

Global Leaderboard Time Factor: Used with events/campaigns that use the Global Leaderboard. The Time Factor converts time to points to standardize the Global Leaderboard on points. To determine Global Leaderboard points, take the Time Factor and divide by the player’s time in the Activation/Game. For example, if the player completed the Activation/Game in 10 seconds and the Time Factor was 100, then Global Leaderboard points will be 100/10 = 10 points. Points earned depends on the Global Leaderboard configuration

Submit Button Background Color - Lets you configure the background color of the Submit / Play button on the lead capture form.

Submit Button Text Color - Lets you configure the text color of the Submit / Play button on the lead capture form.

Submit Button Text - The word or phrase that is displayed on the Submit button of the lead capture form.

Logo - Your company or game logo that is displayed in the top left. The logo will be scaled to height 80px on activations without prizes, and 150px on activations with prizes.
Recommended image size is 559 x 151px.

Background Image - Image file that is displayed in the background of the entire activation.
Recommended image size is 512 x 512px.

Background Fit - Gives 3 options on how to display the background image.

Stretch - Scales the image to fit the current screen resolution.
Cover - Preserves images aspect ratio, but crops the image to fill the screen.
Repeat - Repeats the image on x and y to fill the screen dimensions.

Background Color - If you are not using a Background Image, you can configure the color of the background.

Back Button Color - Color of the back button that exits the activation.
