With the Account Engagement (Pardot) connector, you can seamlessly sync leads from Captello to a an Account Engagement (Pardot) account through our powerful Automations, Fulfillment Actions, and Bulk Actions.
Connecting to Account Engagement (Pardot)

Navigate to Setup > Integrations > Connectors.
Scroll down to the Connector labeled "Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot Integration)".
Select what account type you are connecting from Live, Demo or Sandbox
Click the “Add Account” button which will take you to the page to enter your Account Engagement (Pardot) credentials.
If you entered the correct credentials, you should see a success message as shown below.

Now, enter your Business Unit ID. Once done, you’ll see the success prompt as shown here:
Note: If you’re connecting to a sandbox account then please make sure you enable the Demo option as shown here:

Use the (+) and (-) buttons to add or remove fields. Click Save when you are finished.
Sync Campaigns and Lists
To sync campaigns to Captello, click on the Sync Campaigns button.

Note: The sync runs daily at 7 am CST. On the Connectors page, you need to use the sync buttons to update Captello with new campaigns or lists right away, especially if they're added after the daily sync or when you first connect your account. |
Revoke Access
Disconnect Captello and Pardot by revoking access. To revoke access, click the Revoke Account button on the Pardot Connector.
When you Revoke Access, your current mapping will be lost. So if you perform this action you will need to remap your fields again after reconnection.
Sending Leads to Account Engagement (Pardot)
Use the Add to Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) action to seamlessly sync leads from Captello to Pardot (including to Campaigns and Lists through Automations, Fulfillment Actions, and Bulk Actions.

Always create: Always create a prospect in Account Engagement (Pardot) regardless if the record exists or not.
Update: Update a record in Account Engagement (Pardot) if it exists.
Ignore: If the record does not exist do not create a new record.Ignore: Do not create a prospect exists in Account Engagement (Pardot), do not make any changes to the existing record.
When used in an Automation, you can also add Conditions to the Send to Pardot action. In the example below we are only sending the Lead if the Prospect is marked as a VIP.

Action Needed: If you're forwarding multi-select checkbox data to Pardot form handlers, you will need to parse and reformat the data to match Pardot's expected format. This ensures that the data sent via webhooks is processed correctly by Pardot's form handlers.
Moving from Sandbox to Live
If you have been using Account Engagement with Demo or Sandbox, and are ready to change it to Live there are a few steps you will want to take.
Screenshot or Make notes of what you have mapped, as once you revoke the account all mapping will be lost.
Click the Revoke button to remove the current connection
Change your Account Type in the drop down, and click to Add Account
Once authenticated, go into Map Fields and recreate what you had in testing
